When your lawn emerges from winter dormancy, it may require a little extra TLC to coach it back to health and break up the soil after the snow or cold weathers' freeze compacting it. Mechanical Aeration can do this but with spring time is when you need to put down your pre-emergent and plugging holes may unset your crabgrass barrier! Liquid aeration treatments reach 100 percent of your lawn, whereas core aeration can leave up to 80 percent of the soil untouched. This allows for more nutrients to pass through and strengthen your grass. When roots are able to absorb more light, water, and air, they can form a stronger root system that is better able to fend off weeds, insects, and lawn diseases.
Liquid aeration itself is a treatment powered by potassium hydroxide, which fractures your compacted soil and leaves it loose to absorb key nutrients. BUT with J&S we custom blend our application, creating a full soil conditioning application so it is only a small fraction of the benefits.
We call it Liquid Aeration for simple terminology because If we called it the "Sea Kelp Summer stress relieving Humic Acid increased root dethatching micro macro nutrient amino acid Naturally green up lawn liquid aeration application", that would still be missing some great benefits but would also be so long it would never fit in a box or subject line. So although we are calling this application "Liquid Aeration" it is that and much much more!
Promotes the long-term growth of your soil ecosystem by breaking up your compacted soil and leaving it loose to absorb key nutrients
Breaking down thatch also stimulates microbial activity in the soil. This microbial activity is crucial for the decomposition of organic matter, promoting a healthier soil structure.
Promotes vigorous root development for faster early growth and greater resistance to overall plant stress. This increased rooting decreases stress pressure caused by heat and drought
Allows the lawn to have deeper color, increased rooting, pest resistance, drought protection, increased nutrient uptake
Natural biostimulants and essential micronutrients containing solubilized forms of essential amino acids, vitamins, humic matter, chelating agents and wetting agents promote healthy root and cell wall development, ultimately leading to a more attractive, stronger, more durable turf, able to sustain heavy wear and tear
